I salute Marleen, Commander-in-Chief at Almostronaut Creative, for her guidance through the asteroid field of business card design. She answered all my questions with her signature matter-of-fact style, provided strong advice on trends and best practices, and she navigated me back to the flight path whenever I got distracted by my own personal preferences (yes, Shannon, pink is great, but have a look at this chart about colour connotations). Very creative with unique ideas.
Marleen was recommended to me as a Graphic Designer by a mutual good friend. We embarked together on creating an illustrated book from my manuscript. The whole process was quite magical! There were a lot of editing revisions that I still needed to do and this digital process went through very smoothly. Marleen came up with very creative solutions to format the writing with the pictures and to produce a postcard insert for each book! She also guided and organized the printing end of the project which turned out brilliantly!
I am very grateful to Marleen and would highly recommend her for any creative endeavour that requires an innovative designer!
